Hello and Welcome to my humble website. I’m so happy you found me!
I am a self-professed “joyful artist” passionate about marrying mixed medias and relentless in discovering unique ways that express my inner vision.
I am greatly influenced by the things I see around me everyday - mostly my family, my chapel (yes, I built one years ago) and the landscapes that surround me . I am an avid collector of “shnivel” (anything that can be re-used and fills my poor overflowing studio), memories, anything European, vintage or shabby chic, and any and all OA’s (Oma-artifacts). I am in love with the past but constantly look for ways to bring it into the future by creating eclectic handiworks that surround me in my home. You would be hard pressed to find a bare wall, plain tabletop or even one empty corner in my house - that’s for sure. I play with paint, plaster and paper on a daily basis. On any given day I may be found painting (furniture or on a canvas), creating floral arrangements, casting naked people, or crafting intricate ornaments by hand. My biggest wish is that I could have more time in a day. I wake up many a night with epiphanies or ideas that I can't wait to make the next day only to find it already over-crowded! I lack the organizational gene found in most Germans but I did receive an abundant amount of creative juice from my Russian born Mama whom I credit for any and all of my artistic talent. I am a self-taught and spontaneous joyful artist intent on expressing the inexhaustible flow of inner and outer inspirations that I so gratefully receive daily.
Please take a look around and feel free to contact me with any ideas, comments or suggestions.
